Colorado Deckscapes selects Maxx Merchant Services to increase business through the use of the Maxx Merchants Virtual Terminal.

Colorado Deckscapes specializes in creative outdoor living projects that include decks, fencing, trellises, pergolas, retaining walls, fire pits, built-in grills, interior/exterior tile work and much more.

Colorado Deckscapes wanted the ability to quickly and professionally complete customer billing at the job site once the project was complete. The process was cumbersome as the owner needed to cart around a credit card terminal and hope the job site had a phone line to connect to. If the job site did not have a phone line the owner would need to write down the credit card information to process later. In addition to paying a higher rate for keying the card into the terminal there was additional risk by carrying a hard copy of the credit card information.

Maxx Merchant Services was able to streamline Colorado Desckscapes business process with the introduction of the Maxx Virtual Terminal. Now the owner carries his internet enabled laptop, iPhone or Blackberry to the jobsite for credit card processing. The owner prefers to bring up the virtual terminal via his laptop. With the addition of a USB connected Mini Magnetic Card Swipe reader he is able to swipe the clients card capturing all the credit card information safely and quickly. Once the transaction completes the owner can email a copy of the receipt to the client.

Colorado Deckscapes business process is improved in a number of ways. The interaction with the client is much more professional. The rate the owner is charged for the transaction is as low as possible as the transaction qualifies as a swiped, card present transaction. All the transactions run for the business can be exported to Quickbooks for easy accounting.
